To achieve a good work-life balance you must ensure that you are setting goals to cover the three most important areas of your life. These goals must stay in harmony with one another and not be contradictory. Just as a wheel must be perfectly balanced to rotate smoothly, your life must be in balance as well for you to feel happy and effective. There are three types of different goals you must set in order to achieve personal development and balance.

When people say one thing, but their actions are not congruent with what they say, the actions lead you to the real truth.
There’s a real reason you haven’t accomplished what you say you want. And truth be told, there are only three probable scenarios:
- You really do want to achieve this goal, are working toward it and on your way to achieving it.
- You want the goal, but not as much as you want what’s preventing you from getting it.
- You want something in your conscious mind, but you have a core belief in your subconscious mind that is sabotaging it.
