Jason Womack 提出 96 fifteen-minute blocks in a day 的想法來進行人生管理,概念是假設一天滿分是 100分,那麼一天 1440分鐘,就可以看成有 96個 15分鐘,也就是 96分,所以,只要專注在每一個 15分鐘裡,產生好的結果,那麼,就可以得到 1分。

舉例來說,假設將一天的活動分類為睡眠 8小時、吃飯 3小時、個人 2小時、家庭 3小時、工作 8小時的話,如果今天的睡眠品質很好,那麼就可以得到今天的 32分,如果每次用餐時,都能專心愉快地享用健康餐點,那麼就可以得到今天的 12分,如果在安排閱讀的 30分鐘時間裡,一開始心裡卻又不禁想到工作上的問題,讓自己根本無法專心閱讀,但在逐漸穩定思緒之後,終於進入閱讀世界,那麼可能一開始的 15分鐘,就沒有辦法得到這 1分,依此類推。雖然,可能有時候達不到預定的標準,則失分,但有時候,也可能因為完成了高度困難的工作內容,而讓自己可以有理由為自己加分,讓今天成為完美 100分的一天。
